Plumbing, electrical, dryer vents, HVAC lines, sump pits, radon systems — we drill tidy openings exactly where you need them, with no cracked-up mess around the edges.
Core drilling is the polite way to make a hole in concrete. Instead of hammering and chipping (and praying the surrounding slab survives), we use a diamond-tipped barrel bit that spins through the material and lifts out a clean, round "core" — like coring an apple, just a lot tougher. The result is a smooth, perfectly circular opening anywhere from about an inch across to a foot or more in diameter.
Because the bit cuts rather than smashes, you get a precise hole with crisp edges and no spiderweb of cracks radiating out from it. We can core through poured concrete slabs, foundation walls, concrete block, and brick.
More often than you'd think. A round opening through concrete is the starting point for all kinds of household projects:
If a contractor, plumber, or electrician told you "we just need a hole cored through that," that's the call to make.

We bring the right bit for the job, control the slurry and dust so your space stays livable, and we double-check placement before the bit ever touches concrete — because a hole in the wrong spot is no fun for anybody. We're licensed, insured, and locally owned right here in Western North Carolina.
Core drilling makes a wet, gritty slurry. We come prepared to contain it — drop cloths, water management, and a thorough cleanup so you'd barely know we were there, except for the nice new hole. Tidy work is the whole point of hiring a specialist instead of renting a drill and hoping for the best.
Anywhere from roughly 1 inch up to 12+ inches in diameter. Tell us what's going through the hole — a pipe, conduit, vent — and we'll match the bit exactly.
No. That's the beauty of diamond core drilling versus hammering. The bit cuts a clean circle and leaves the surrounding slab or wall intact.
There's water and slurry involved, but we contain and clean it up. Clean work is our thing — see our section removal and other services for the same tidy approach.
Often paired with slab & flat sawing for larger openings, plumbing & septic slab access when a line needs reaching, or hand sawing for tight detail work. Not sure which you need? Start on the home page or just call.
Tell us the size and what's going through it — we'll quote it fast and drill it clean.
